Do you have an event, blog, message series, or special occasion that would benefit from a personal, custom, unique lyric? Do you have a favorite passage of Scripture that you’d like paraphrased as a poem? Consider a commissioned piece.

Commissioned pieces are written on a first-come-first-served basis. Please allow 1 – 3 weeks for completion.

Here are some of the commissioned pieces that are available:

  • Personal Poem – Prices starting at $99: Written to or about a particular person or group. Up to 4 stanzas. Additional stanzas available at $25 each, as requested. Great for handmade greeting cards, love letters, roasts and toasts, etc.
  • Poetic Blog – Prices starting at $120: Written about a particular topic or theme. Includes up to 3 stanzas. Prices vary based on requested length.
  • Spoken Word – Prices starting at $150: Written about a particular theme or exhortation. Includes rhyming scheme that flows verbally. Includes audio recording for demonstrative purposes to help get the em-PHAS-is on the right syl-LAB-le. Usually 1-2 minutes in length. Longer pieces available for an additional fee.
  • Song Lyrics – Prices starting at $250: Written about the person, group, topic or theme of your choice. Particular attention is given to meter and form. Includes up to 2 re-writes with your composer’s input. (Composer referrals available upon request.)
  • Scripture Paraphrases – Prices starting at $15: These are my favorite pieces to work on, so the pricing reflects that. At $15 per verse, I’ll paraphrase your selected passage of Scripture in poetic form. These can be useful for committing Scriptural principles to memory, tying up a message series, concluding a paper, etc. 100% of the proceeds from Scripture Paraphrases are donated to Campus Crusade for Christ.

If you have an idea for a commission that falls outside of what you see listed, just shoot an email to delton70 (at) gmail (dot) com and we’ll chat about it!

Of course, I also offer a full array ghost-writing services for blogs, technical articles, sales letters, queries, devotionals, and more. If you need a writer, I can help.
