dry land

dry and barren

the soil is thirsty

sun beats down

breeze is failing

quench our thirst

and flood this land

wash the people

as white as snow

brown and withered

roots are shallow

empty branches

reach to the sky

quench our thirst

and flood this land

wash the people

as white as snow

message of hope

love to a child

rain of forgiveness

cleansing us now

quench our thirst

and flood this land

wash the people

as white as snow

green and growing

fountain within

washed and renewed

flowing and fed

quench our thirst

and flood this land

wash the people

as white as snow
